· No Abuse -
o If you wish to hurl abuse at each other, or talk rubbish, please use another forum. Anyone aggressively and offensively abusing other forum members will be banned. Also, do not start a fight in other AdrenalinTrip forums. If you do, and you cause a nuisance, and they ask a mod to, you will be banned from MX UK. They aren’t allowed to come in here causing trouble, so you cannot do it in there.
· Use English -
o Please type properly and use ’real’ words. For the benefit of other forum users, please do not type in mobile ’text’ language.
· No Swearing -
o Please do not use swear words in the title/subject of your post. Bad language should be kept to a minimum, excessive and pointless swearing will not be tolerated.
· Usernames -
o When you are choosing a ’username’, please keep it clean, same goes for avatars.
· Capitals/Uppercase posting -
o Please don’t use capitals in your titles and threads. Its much harder to read, and it becomes a fight to make the most noticable post.
· Calling -
o No ’calling’. If you are trying to contact another forum member directly, then send them a PM (private message). Do not post messages like "calling xxxx", as these posts have no meaning to 99% of the forum will be deleted.
· Repeat Posts -
o If you are asking a question, please use the search facility first, as your question may well already have been answered recently by someone else. Most common questions are already answered in the FAQ section.
· Thread Titles -
o Thread titles should be descriptive. If you have a question, put the whole question in the thread title. A thread with the title “Do you know…” or “What do you think?” is meaningless.
· Categories -
o You have to specify a category for your post:
§ General - for general dirt bike stuff not covered by Social, Technical or Youth.
§ Social - dirt bike related chat etc
§ Youth - Youth MX, freeriding and under-18 chat.
o Filtering.
§ You can select which categories to view / exclude. So, if you’re a Technical junkie and not interested in Social and Youth posts, just filter them out and it’ll be like they don’t exist. · Illegal Riding -
o This site was set up to promote MX, Enduro and other legal Dirt Biking. Illegal riding only damages our sport and as such any promotion, support or organising of illegal riding is directly opposing the aims of this site. Any threads promoting, supporting or organising illegal riding will be deleted, repeat offenders will be banned from the forum.
· Mods Decisions -
o Could all members please cut the mods some slack. You might not agree with how they mod the forum but without mods this place would degenerate into children posting rubbish and calling each other wangers. Mods do make mistakes. If you have a problem with any of the mods decisions PM me. Do not post your grievances in a new thread. I will make a final decision on any moderation impartially and I’d appreciate both members and mods taking the decision without any upset. Whinging about mods in public will not be tolerated.
Finally, remember, this is a public forum which is read by many people. It is here for the mutual benefit of all Motocross riders and fans. Please Bare this in mind when posting, try not to cause any offence, not everyone appreciates bad language etc. Everyone is entitled to an opinion, if you do not agree with someone’s opinion; do not to take it personally, just agree to disagree! Also, try to ensure that all posts are in the general interest. For example, creating a post just to show a picture of your new ‘Yoko Roost Deflector Sticker’ is not interesting to anyone except you!
